Cucumber Watermelon Salsa

This brings two summertime staples, cucumber and watermelon, together for a fresh new taste! Although this is a salsa recipe and the serving size listed reflects that, a larger portion can make a great side dish! This is a featured recipe from our Preschool Food Adventure.

Method

Combine cucumber, watermelon, mango, bell pepper, onion, and basil in a large bowl. To a small bowl, add lime zest, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, and salt and whisk together. Pour lime juice mixture over salsa and mix gently. Serve with chips.
